Pet care experience
My Passion, Degree, & Work: Animals
I officially started working with animals at the age of 12 as a shelter volunteer up through high school and then at 15 began my work in an animal hospital as a kennel attendant, veterinary technician's assistant, and veterinary camp counselor for 5-6 years. I have had 3 internships at a rescue horse farm, a waterfowl rescue, and working with the company that trains the animals for the Pirate's Voyage attraction show. I've also worked as a veterinary assistant while abroad in Guatemala and Costa Rica for spay and neuter clinics. I've owned fish, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and bearded dragons. I have a large range of animal experience and knowledge as I have a Bachelors of Science degree in wildlife health and animal science from The University of Tennessee Knoxville.

Adejah also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I am honest, respectful, caring, empathetic, and appreciate a structured environment. I am aware that each household, pet, and owner is different and know that introducing new people to these environments with pets can take some time. I am extremely patient and will make the owner and pet's well-being a priority.
Ratings and reviews
Adejah did a great job watching over my babies! Highly recommend.

Very sweet caring dog sitter

Adejah was great with our dogs while we were away! I fully trusted her in my home and my dogs were healthy and happy when I returned! She’s very responsive and so kind. We look forward to using her again in the future!

Adejah is very caring compassionate & educated in her profession. She was sweet & took great care of my senior pet

Went above and beyond! Adejah even suggested learnings from her previous dog caring experiences that I’ve begun to integrate on my own with my pup.

Our family is so grateful to have found Adejah, who was the perfect fit for us and our needs. She is an amazing young woman. We saw that she is studying to be a vet, so we felt like there was an additional layer of care that she could provide for our pups if need be. We booked her a month in advance of when we would need her services and throughout that month we scheduled a few meet and greets for her and the pups to become acquainted. She house sat for us for 11 days, sending regular updates and pictures of our dogs. And she left our house spotless. We are so thankful for the love and care she was able to provide for our dogs (the day after we got home, they were looking for her) and the respect that she showed our home. We have some shorter trips coming up in the next few months and she will be our go to, without a thought.
