Currently, pet sitting is my primary job so my schedule is usually open aside from occasional traveling but I am aware of those dates far in advance to provide realistic availability.

A typical day
I enjoy being outdoors so playtime and outdoors time will be enjoyable for both of us! I know of a few park areas for walking and playing. Knowing the dogs' favorite activities will be helpful and we'll be sure to do them :).

Pet care experience
I officially started working with animals at the age of 12 as a shelter volunteer up through high school and then at 15 began my work in an animal hospital as a kennel attendant, veterinary technician's assistant, and veterinary camp counselor for 5-6 years. I have had 3 internships at a rescue horse farm, a waterfowl rescue, and working with the company that trains the animals for the Pirate's Voyage attraction show. I've also worked as a veterinary assistant while abroad in Guatemala and Costa Rica for spay and neuter clinics. I've owned fish, cats, dogs, guinea pigs, and bearded dragons. I have a large range of animal experience and knowledge as I have a Bachelors of Science degree in wildlife health and animal science from The University of Tennessee Knoxville.
