From five years old, I have cared for my family’s pets: from dogs to cats, snakes to rats, and even chickens! Over the past 13 years, my love has animals has expanded to other families and their fur balls! No pet is too large, small, or exotic for me to love. Throughout my experience, I have gained confidence caring for pets that need medication, have anxiety, or just need some extra help. I am currently a medical student at VCU, so I am quite flexible and would love to have a furry friend to keep me company while studying. Whether youngsters or senior citizens, I will love your pets like my own!

Whether your dog loves to play ball or cuddle on the couch, I will do my best to meet their needs while also meeting yours. In order to build trust with your animals, I observe their behavior and respond accordingly. I love taking energetic dogs on long walks or playing ball. For pups that don’t do well with other dogs, I avoid interactions. I am very diligent at making sure the environments we are in are safe and triple check gates, doors, and safety hazards. If you or your dog have any specific needs or concerns, let me know!

Addy stayed with our dog Hazel for nine days while we were away. She took excellent care of Hazel, making sure that she was fed, walked and well cared for. I cannot recommend Addy enough for taking care of your pets! Addy has taken care of many of our pets (including rats and rabbits!) and is a loving and conscientious caregiver. She has walked our dogs several times a day as instructed, given medication and followed our feeding instructions to a T. She has provided similar pet care to a number of my friends. She has also done overnights and taken care of plants, mail, etc. if needed. She not only provides top notch pet care, but she clearly loves animals. Addy also leaves your home neat and tidy if she is providing overnight care.

Schedule
I am currently a medical student and have a lot of flexibility throughout the day. Most days I am completely remote and able to care for and hangout with your pets throughout the day. Some days I have mandatory events in the afternoon from 1-4pm. Due to restrictions on my living situation, I cannot board your pets, but would love to care for your pets in your home during the week and on weekends.
