I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, growing up in a home full of both cats and dogs. Caring for pets has always come naturally to me, and having pets of my own has taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to give them the extra love and attention they deserve. I recently said goodbye to my 13-year-old Labrador Retriever, my best friend, but not long after, I found and took in a scrawny feral kitten who is now absolutely thriving and living his best life. I also worked as a veterinary technician assistant for a year, where I gained hands-on experience supporting veterinarians and learning how to properly care for animals of all ages and needs. This experience taught me how to be attentive, detail-oriented, and confident in handling a variety of situations. Whether it’s keeping up with routines, providing playtime and enrichment, or simply offering comfort and companionship, I treat every pet like my own. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

My dog Harley really likes Addison. She absolutely loves going to her house and gets so excited every time we pull up. I always know she’s in good hands with Addison. She gets plenty of love, attention, and playtime. I couldn’t ask for a better person to watch her.
Addison was awesome with my German Shorthair Pointer, Dottie! She made sure Dottie got a long walk and lots of attention. Dottie came back happy and relaxed, and I could tell she really enjoyed her time. I’d definitely recommend Addison to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog walker!

Schedule
Alongside my commitment to Rover, I also work a part-time role that requires a few days of in-office attendance. That said, I maintain a flexible schedule throughout the week and am always fully available on weekends. I’m more than happy to accommodate your routine and ensure your pet receives the care, attention, and exercise they deserve when you’re away!

While I don’t have a large yard, my neighborhood offers plenty of safe walking trails and a nearby community dog park, giving your pet great opportunities to stay active, happy, and well-exercised.

A typical day
When caring for pets, I love keeping them active, engaged, and happy. I take them on long, enjoyable walks to help burn off energy and get some fresh air. I also incorporate enrichment activities like puzzles and interactive games to keep their minds stimulated, making sure they feel content and well-cared for while you’re away.
