*Why should you choose ME out of ALL the other pet-sitters in your area? (Hi guys! Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I moved to N Padre Island in August of 2020. I ONLY PET-SIT ON ISLAND.) Need a quick potty break, a quick check-in, or have a pet that doesn’t need 30 min each check-in? I also offer 15 min drop-ins for $19! I can do multiple drop-ins per day! I also do nail trims on Island! It’s $25 for just a trim, and $30 for a trim and file (I use a dremel to smooth the sharp edges out) I do nail trims in your home, and if your pet will let me I can even do it during check-ins so you don't have to worry about being there! (Cat nail trims- $25) *Disclaimer*: I do NOT do nail trims on overly aggressive pets. PASSION: I have always loved animals and have a huge passion for them. I genuinely enjoy pet-sitting, and I think pets make our lives better! EXPERIENCE: I have been around animals all my life. I've been pet-sitting for about 16 years now. I have worked with rescues, groomers, vets, trainers, and pet brand reps. I managed a pet store back in College Station for over 3 years and know how to care for a variety of exotics including small animals, reptiles, birds and fish. I have experience with special needs pets, pets with medical needs, pets with behavioral issues, even pets that can't walk on their own. If you have a puppy or dog that is in training, I know basic commands and can continue their training while you're gone. RELIABILITY: I am a full-time pet sitter, so my top priority is going to be your pets. I will be on time and you don't have to worry about me having a crazy schedule; I will be there for your pets. TRAINING: Because of the training and experience I have, I will be able to recognize any issues if they arise. I will be able to look for signs in your animals behavior or their well-being to make sure they receive the best care possible. If an emergency occurs, I can handle it quickly and calmly, your pets well-being will be my top priority. Also working towards becoming dog and cat CPR certified! RESPONSIVENESS: If an issue with your pet or home occurs, I will let you know immediately. QUALITY CARE: Because of my experience and training you can rest assured your pets are receiving quality care. I spend quality time with them, giving them pets, play-time, and keeping an eye on their overall well being. I will treat your pets as I would my own! ABOVE AND BEYOND: I will clean up after your pets daily, check your mail, open or close blinds, make sure lights are on or off, make sure your pet has their comfort items (blankets, special toys, treats) and just do all the extra little things to go above and beyond for you and your pet. PEACE OF MIND: Enjoy your time away with peace of mind. I send picture and text updates daily/multiple times a day with details about their check-ins. You will never have to wonder how they're doing. TRUST: I know all to well that some pets have anxiety, behavioral issues, etc. I will be patient and work hard to gain their trust over time. *DISCLAIMER*: Please have an emergency contact as well as vet information ready for me when I come to check on your pet! If your pet(s) have any fleas or contagious illnesses please let me know because I have pets of my own! About this sitter: I have been pet sitting and dog walking for years. I have a passion for animals and will treat your pets like my own! I love pet-sitting and could never imagine myself not doing it. I'm willing to do extra things as well such as bathing and picking up the poo. Baths are $20 for small dogs (under 20 lbs) and $30 for large dogs. Poo pick up is $5 a day added on to check-in prices. I will go above and beyond! I'd love to watch your pets! Plus, I enjoy the connections I make with pet owners who truly appreciate what I do.” And for me, the pets who are extra skiddish, have medical issues, or just need that extra love and care - making connections with those pets is really special. Also my long-term clients who have been with me for years and I get to watch their puppies grow or be there when their seniors pass the rainbow bridge. My experience administering medication I have administered medication in the past to older dogs or dogs with specific medical needs. I am comfortable doing it.
