I’ve been caring for dogs for most of my life. As a child, I looked after a beagle-terrier mix (a Jack-a-Bee) for four years, handling everything from walks to daily care. More recently, I moved to my sister’s home and have been caring for her two dogs for the past four months, discovering my true love for dog care. I’m not just a caregiver; I’m a playmate, companion, and friend. I also believe in positive, science-based training, and I’m currently taking dog behavior and positive reinforcement courses through Positively to expand my skills. If your dog needs someone who will keep them happy, engaged, and loved, I’ll be there for them.

I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust in every visit. In my home, pets have a clean, secure space to relax and play, with plenty of supervision and attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow your routines closely, respect your space, and make sure your pets feel safe and comfortable. I always provide plenty of playtime, gentle care, and affection, while keeping an eye on their well-being. Your pet’s happiness and security are my top priorities.

Adara was fantastic. She exceeded expectations. She was conscientious and patient with my old lady (My 16 YO Chihuahua) and spent valuable time attending to her. She followed every instruction I asked of her and maintained excellent communication while I was away. Including pics which was very reassuring. She took great care of my house and, if I’m honest, left it cleaner than when I left. Heck, she even brought in my mail! I can’t recommend her enough and I will absolutely hire her next time I’m away or need help.
Adara did a wonderful job house and dog sitting for us for 12 days! Our pups were well loved and taken care of, one of which takes medication 2x a day. The house was very clean, she really went the extra mile. I highly recommend her, just don't try to steal her from us!
Adara has been taking care of my two dogs for the last 5 months. I have a 3 year old F1B Goldendoodle (BB-8) and a 3 year old Terrier mix (R2-D2). She has done a wonderful job making sure they are fed, adding drops in their ears when needed, and even bathes them when they are muddy. My doodle is super hyper but she had the patience to teach him a couple of tricks. BB is able to sit, lay down, shake, high five, and now jump and spin on command. Adara loves animals and my boys love her.

Schedule
I’m available most weekdays and weekends, so your pet can get consistent care and attention. I’m happy to adapt to your schedule and make sure your furry friend feels loved and looked after. Please note that I typically do not accept same-day requests unless we’ve worked together before, as I like to ensure I have adequate time to prepare and provide the best care possible. I’m generally available year-round, with the exception of holidays, though you’re always welcome to reach out to check my availability.
