I would love to help with your dog!
I am ALSO that dog guardian that feels like they can never trust anyone with my dog. My dogs are my whole world and it makes going out of town or long work days stressful instead of enjoyable. I have been an animal lover my entire life! What started with a family dog has turned into me owning 3 of my own dogs. I have participated in various dog sports- barn hunt, agility, and rally to name a few. I’ve worked extensively with dog trainers and although I am not a professional, I am well versed in positive reinforcement and force free training. I am confident caring for/walking dog’s that deal with reactivity or aggression issues. I’ve had to work through reactivity issues with my own dogs and I am a better dog person because of it.

Adara was fantastic with our pup. Our dog is very nervous and skittish, Adara was great working with her and made her feel safe. We got lots of updates and pictures of our baby while out of town. We definitely will be rebooking in the future.
Adara was awesome! She had our puppy for the holidays and we never worried once. He was so happy while he was there and Adara was super attentive to him. He came back happy and worn out which is the sign of a satisfied puppy. She also updated us with great pictures and we were so happy to get all the updates.
Adara was great sitter to our dog, Toby! She was very thoughtful, communicative, and caring. Adara also has a great knowledge of dogs and how to care for them properly. We will definitely use her again! :)
Adara is an absolute dream and I can highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a home away from home for your dog. She took exceptional care of our dog and kept us updated!
I recommend Adara to anyone with a difficult dog. It’s hard for me to find someone I trust to watch my dog because he is standoffish with new people. Adara took her time getting to know him and never made either of us feel pressured. She reads dog body language so well and I’m grateful to finally have someone walk my dog!!

Schedule
I am extremely detail oriented and I understand the importance of following your schedule, training, and reinforcing the behaviors you are looking for in your dog. If you are training loose leash walking, working through reactivity, avoiding walking near other dogs/people, I will completely respect that and help you. I am comfortable and confident using whichever (or none) of the training tools you use.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard and pet friendly home. I can only accept crate trained dogs for overnight stays. I have cats but I have the space to keep them separate. I work mostly from home with errands not lasting longer than 2 hours. I do not allow dogs together unsupervised. Any play or interaction will ALWAYS be supervised, as well as any outside time.
Pets
A typical day
For boarders: if you want your dog to join me and Pacha on walks while they stay, we can do that. If you prefer your dog to be walked alone, or not walked at all, that is perfectly fine. My yard & basket of toys will be enough! I also have a freezer full of Kongs and licky mats as well as a drawer of puzzles, snuffle mats, and other enrichment activities.
