Pet care experience
Home all day + private patio
I work from home full-time, so your dog gets company and supervision all day: no long stretches alone. My basement-level apartment has a private, fully enclosed outdoor open-sky patio with direct sliding-door access for easy care, play, and sunbathing. I’ve fostered dogs before and share my home with Jasper, my friendly 5-year-old corgi, who loves canine company (we do a meet-and-greet before every booking to make sure everyone’s comfortable). Daily routine includes walks, play sessions, and photo updates so you always know how your pup is doing. Neutered/spayed dogs only, please or we can talk about it in depth before booking.

Ratings and reviews
Adam is a wonderful sitter! He is incredibly responsible, reliable, and amazing with dogs. Simba had such a great time staying with Adam and Jasper for 8 days. Simba was very anxious and scared at first, but Adam knew exactly how to handle the transition. He gave him the space and time he needed to feel comfortable, and before long, everything was perfect! I really appreciated Adam’s patience, care, and understanding. I would absolutely trust Adam with Simba again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog sitter! 🐾❤️

Adam is conscientious and attentive when caring for our dogs. He is eager to provide a safe and engaging experience for your 4-legged family member. He is comfortable working with both large breeds and small. Every time he comes in the door, our dogs can hardly contain their excitement at his arrival. He has always been open to working around the idiosyncrasies of our routine and gracious when our schedule has changed unexpectedly. I highly recommend his services!

Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I can easily adapt to any needs for care. Since I work from home, pups can stay out and about with me all day. We take multiple walks throughout the day around the neighborhood and/or the block which is very dog friendly. Additionally, there is a park within 10 minutes walk and a dog park within 10 minutes walk however we typically will stay on our back patio and do treat dispensing play toys, splash pad days, or general lounging. The patio is where the pups love to explore and lay out on in the sun. It is cleaned off daily and deep cleaned weekly.

A typical day
I think it’s really important to stimulate an animal mentally as well as physically because both offer different benefits to the animals overall health. I regularly take my pup around our block on short walks throughout the day. We also love going to the Triborough Bridge dog park and on longer walks around the neighborhood or down to Astoria Park. I think it’s really important to understand how much physical activity or mental simulation any particular animal that’s under my care needs to have and can stand. Lick mats in different treats are available as we discuss any sort of dietary needs or restrictions your pet may have.

- Just like watching a human, I find it very important to know about dietary restrictions and medication needs of any living thing that’s under my care. Even for a short amount of time. Especially if they have any medical issues that require special attention to detail. I am diabetic myself and understand what it’s like to live with a pre-existing condition that isn’t always visible.
