Safety, trust & environment

Trust is the most important part of this relationship. I know it’s a big deal to invite someone into your home, which is why clear communication is my priority. I am a stickler for following instructions—from making sure the door is double-locked to ensuring your pet gets their exact medication dosage. I’m punctual, respectful of your space, and I’m a firm believer that there’s no such thing as 'too many' photo updates! You’ll get detailed check-ins so you can see exactly how happy and safe your best friend is while you're away.

Information Adam S. would like to know about your pet

To give your pet the best experience possible, I’d love to know the 'User Manual' for your furry friend! The more I know, the better I can bond with them. Please share: • The Routine: Typical feeding times, favorite walking routes, and 'potty' cues. • The Personality: What makes them wag? What makes them nervous? (Triggers, loud noises, or 'stranger danger'). • The Rules: Any house rules I should reinforce, training commands they know, and how they interact with other dogs or squirrels on walks. • The Health Stuff: Any allergies, medical needs, or physical limitations I should be aware of

A typical day

No two pets are the same, so no two visits are the same! A typical session with me is a mix of purposeful exercise and mental enrichment. • For the Athletes: We’re doing brisk walks, fetch, and tug-of-war to burn off that extra energy. • For the Thinkers: I love incorporating basic training games and interactive toys to keep their minds sharp. • For the Chillers: It’s all about gentle movement, enrichment puzzles, and dedicated 'cuddle-and-recharge' time. I tailor every minute to your pet’s current vibe and energy level, ensuring they feel satisfied and calm by the time I head out.

Pet care experience

I’m a lifelong animal lover and the proud parent of Rudy, my Husky (so yes... I am fluent in 'sass,' expert-level at managing zoomies, and I don't fear a little fur!). For years, I’ve been the 'go-to' pet person for my friends and family. Whether it’s long-term house sitting, popping in for midday care, or offering a safe environment to leave their pets while they travel my inner circle has trusted me with their homes and their best friends for as long as I can remember. In fact, it was their constant encouragement and recommendations that finally led me to join Rover! Because I work from home, I offer a level of flexibility and reliability that's hard to find. I treat every drop-in and walk as the highlight of your pet’s day. I’m not just a visitor; I’m a dedicated caregiver who treats your pet with the same attention to detail and love that you do.

Adam is a dedicated and loving dog owner who takes excellent care of his own dog as I can see by his dog's health and happiness. My dog absolutely loves him which makes me feel at ease trusting him to care for my animals, and I believe anyone else should too. I get the impression of a loving, patient, and attentive home where any animals would feel safe and cared for and where any owner should feel at ease to leave their furry family. I would highly recommend him as a sitter.

Adam has an incredibly big heart when it comes to animals. He is deeply attentive, patient, and naturally tuned in to what pets need to feel safe and comfortable. Caring for animals comes instinctively to him — whether it’s sticking to routines, giving affection, or simply making sure they feel calm and loved. He is the kind of person who immediately connects with animals and treats them with real care and respect.

I can't recommend Adam highly enough! As a lifelong dog owner, he has an incredible natural ability with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. He's been amazing with both of my dogs, a pitbull and a Rottweiler, treating them with patience, care, and genuine affection. What really stands out is how attentive and responsible he is. Watching how he cares for his own pompsky, I've seen firsthand his dedication to making sure dogs are happy, healthy, and well exercised. He understands that every dog has unique needs and personality, and he adapts his approach accordingly. Whether you have a small dog or a large breed, I trust him completely. Your pup will be in the best possible hands - loved, safe, and probably spoiled with attention! If you're looking for someone reliable who will treat your dog like their own, look no further.
