Connected well with Teddy

Nice guy, seemed like a good fit for my pets upon meeting and was willing to come back for a second meeting before my vacation. Unfortunately he was not very communicative. I texted asking for pictures and didn’t receive anything besides a 5 second video the next morning. I heard nothing the rest of the week until I reached out and only got a response that everything was fine. I’m not convinced everything was fine as I came home to a very messy house. I’ve never used a pet sitter who didn’t bare minimum clean up after themselves. There were several dishes left in the sink, leftovers in the fridge, and a bunch of dirt in the shower. The basement was a huge mess. There’s a bunch of lids from my storage containers laying around that I have no clue why they would have been removed from the storage room. There was bile in multiple areas meaning my dogs weren’t eating or weren’t getting fed. One of my dogs is picky and sometimes doesn’t eat, but dogs throwing up doesn’t equate to “everything is fine”. The floor was filthy which I guess could’ve on me for not asking him to sweep while I was gone, but I’ve never had to instruct someone to do basic cleanup after pets. The storage room where the dog food is kept was left open when Adam left giving the dogs free access and they had diarrhea as a result. Overall I’m very disappointed in this sitter. I had high hopes for future services, but that won’t be happening. I came back from vacation and basically have to deep clean my entire house.

Adam was so enthusiastic about meeting my pets- it’s nice to find someone who isn’t apprehensive about my large, boisterous German Shepherd. I loved that he was able to spend most of his time in the home while sitting rather than just dropping in a few times. He was also super flexible when a snowstorm made our travel plans change. Thanks, Adam!

He was on time with schedule and took great care of my cats! Would recommend him to anyone!
