I believe every dog has a purpose. God uses pets to teach us and help us. I am learning how to be a better dog trainer/rehabilitator and your dog can help me gain more experience boarding and caring for different types of dogs. Right now I have a toddler son whom I am home with during the days, and my family comes first. We take frequent walks and have a fenced-in yard. I have trained and cared for multiple dogs since I was young. My own lab mix, Buddy, died of old age several years ago and my wife and I have loved boarding dogs for friends and family since. I insist on meeting your dog beforehand to make sure he is going to get along with my wiggly little boy. I will need your help and tips on how to make this the best experience for you and your dog.

My dog mosby had a great time staying with them! Adam was great at updating us with pictures and what they got up to during the day. They had a great fenced in yard that helped get all of the pups crazy energy out. Would book them again for our next trip

Adam and Mary cared for our energetic puppy for 2 weeks and made us feel at ease leaving for so long. They sent regular updates and took care of her like she was their own! Would definitely request their help again in the future.
Adam and Mary were amazing. They watched Rosie while we were on a 3 week vacation over the holidays and Rosie had the best time. We had a multi-day flight delay getting back and they were so accommodating in extending. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I am home every day and work just 2-3 evening part-time shifts a week at the nonprofit I work for. My wife is a part-time nurse and we arrange our schedules so someone is always home. Most days both of us are at home. I am up early each day so we have time for exercise or play before my son gets up at 7am. My wife, son and I typically take walks or are outside morning and afternoon unless the weather is downright dangerous. My son is an amazing sleeper and doesn’t make a peep between 8pm and 7am. We love long stays with dogs.

We have a fenced-in yard with just enough room to catch a frisbee or tree a squirrel and a great low-traffic neighborhood for walks. We just got chickens in a blocked-off part of the yard. If the smell of chickens will drive your dog nuts, we may not be a good fit. The house has plenty of room for dog crate or bed.
A typical day
I love to go on walks or runs with dogs early. I even take high-energy dogs with inline skates when the weather allows. A good morning walk together makes the whole day better! We can do play with other dogs as we have dog parks and relatives with dogs nearby, otherwise simple play in the yard is great!
