I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have been caring for them since I was a kid. I’ve lived with and worked with all kinds of breeds, from German Shepherds and Pit Bulls to Toy Poodles and Chihuahuas. I’ve also worked with dogs that were fearful or difficult to manage and, with patience, consistency, and training, helped them become more comfortable and confident. I have plenty of experience with puppies, including helping with potty training, and I’m comfortable with cats as well. I’m used to handling everyday grooming and basic care and know when something is best left to the vet. I’m pretty calm in stressful situations and don’t get easily overwhelmed. Most importantly, I believe animals respond best to patience, consistency, love, and respect. I’m comfortable setting boundaries and maintaining house rules, but I don’t believe in harsh physical correction. My goal is always to build trust and create a good relationship with every animal in my care. To me, there’s no such thing as a bad dog just an animal that may need more patience, understanding, and the right guidance.
