Availability
I work Monday through Friday from 5am to 3pm, so I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and house sitting after 3pm on weekdays. I’m also available most weekends and can do longer visits, playtime, and routines then. If your pet needs a specific schedule, I’m happy to coordinate timing in advance.

About Adam H.
Dog skills
Safety, trust & environment
Safety and comfort come first. I follow your pet’s normal routine (feeding, potty breaks, walks, play, and meds if needed) and I always use secure leashes/harnesses, double-check doors and gates, and supervise outside time. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I use calm handling and positive reinforcement. I can crate if requested, keep dogs separated when needed, and I’ll send regular updates and photos so you feel confident while you’re away.
Information Adam H. would like to know about your pet
Before we start, I like to know your dog’s routine (feeding times, potty schedule, walk length), energy level, and any commands you use. Please tell me about leash behavior (pulling/reactivity), how they do with other dogs/people, and any triggers (cats, bikes, strangers, storms). Also share any medical needs, allergies, medications, or mobility issues, plus whether they’re crate-trained and any escape habits (door dashing, fence jumping). The more I know up front, the smoother and safer the visit will be.
A typical day
A typical day includes potty breaks, a good walk (or two), and lots of play and attention. I like to mix in enrichment like sniffy “explore” walks, basic training refreshers (sit, stay, leash manners), and simple puzzle games to keep dogs mentally engaged. Depending on your dog’s energy level, we’ll do fetch/tug, backyard time, or a calmer routine with cuddles and check-ins. I’ll follow your feeding schedule and any house rules, and I’ll send photo updates along the way.

Confident with all dogs.
Pet care experience
I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and have 12+ years of hands-on pet care experience. I have 4 dogs of my own, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and energy levels. I have experience with basic training and reinforcing routines (sit, stay, leash manners, crate/house habits), and I’m happy to keep up with any commands you’re working on. I’m confident around all sizes and breeds, and I love keeping dogs engaged with play, walks, and enrichment, while always prioritizing safety and your dog’s comfort.
Reviews
I highly recommend Adam as a pet sitter. He’s responsible, calm, and safety focused, and he truly enjoys spending time with dogs. Adam understands routines, uses positive reinforcement, and always makes sure pets are comfortable, exercised, and well cared for.
