My girlfriend, Monica, and I have been active on Rover in MN since 2023. Before we moved in together, I was also on Rover in Utah for a few years. My family adopted a small dog and we had her for about a year and half. We discovered that my dad is allergic to dogs so we had to find a better fitting home for her. My siblings have since moved out of the house and adopted dogs. Whenever I visit my siblings, I always help to take care of their pets as if they are my own. I help walk them, feed them, play with them, etc. Monica grew up with Australian shepherds and boarder collie mixes. We hope to adopt our own dogs some day.

Our dog had a wonderful stay with Adam and Monica! They were quick and responsive and kept us updated the whole time we were gone! Will definitely use them again in the future!
Adam is our go-to sitter when we are out of town. Dewey has stayed with Adam and Monica multiple times, and we feel extremely comfortable leaving him in their care! We get frequent updates, and Dewey always looks like he is having a blast. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to ensure their fur baby will be well loved while they’re gone!

Adam and Monica were wonderful! Liv recently had some medical things going on and they jumped in with meds and other requirements with no issues. They also kept me up to date throughout her stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future!

Schedule
I work from home Mondays and Fridays, and Monica often works 9-5. We prefer watching pups who can go 8 hours without a potty break, but we can sometimes be a little flexible depending on the time of year.

Safety, trust & environment
We love walking pets around the large park nearby and through the neighborhood. We also have a spacious yard for quick potty breaks. Our neighborhood is fairly quiet with not a lot of activity (i.e. other dogs or small children); however, we are always cautious near others and will cross the street or go the other way if needed.
A typical day
We enjoy going on hikes and walking around our neighborhood. We have an unfenced backyard where we enjoy some shade and the nice weather in the spring/summer/fall.
