My Bichon and I will love your dog!
I welcome dogs from just one household at a time, so your dog—or pair of dogs—gets plenty of individual attention in a relaxed home environment, with a fenced yard and my friendly Bichon, Apple, for company. I've been a dog owner for 16 years, including two Shih Tzus who lived to 16 and 14, so I'm also very comfortable caring for senior dogs. Apple is extremely dog-friendly and enjoys dogs of many sizes, especially those around her size or somewhat larger. I want your dog to feel at home here. I'm happy to follow your normal feeding, sleeping and medication routines, and dogs are welcome on the furniture and beds. I also send plenty of photos and updates so you know how your dog is doing while you're away.

Our experience leaving our dog Marshmallow with Adam was absolutely amazing! He was really responsive and easy to talk to and was even flexible when we had to change our plans. He took really amazing care of Marshmallow, provided great photos + updates, and it sounds like she had a great time while staying with Adam. Will definitely be asking Adam to watch Marshmallow again in the future and would recommend him to anyone looking for a loving, caring place to leave their pets while they're away. Thanks Adam!
Adam is a loving, caring, and compassionate individual. He has consistently gone out of his way to make my pets feel comfortable. Ive personally witnesses him turn himself into a human pillow to appease my 65 pound pittie who is convinced he's still a lap dog. Hes been willing to handfeed and walk my dogs at any hour of the day. My pups are always happy in his care. There isnt anything Adam wouldn't do to make your pet feel comfortable while in his care. I couldn't imagine anyone who I would trust more with my pets.

Schedule
I currently work from home, so I have plenty of time to care for your dogs (frequent potty breaks, walks as desired, etc.). Occasionally I will have to leave to run errands or meet with clients, but I am rarely gone for more than 2-3 hours. Days that I anticipate being away for more than 3 hours are marked as unavailable on my calendar.

Safety, trust & environment
When I’m home, guest dogs are welcome to roam the house and fenced yard. If I need to be away briefly, I’m happy to follow whatever routine your dog is accustomed to. I do have several spare crates for smaller dogs if your dog is accustomed to using one, although I also have plenty of space for you to bring yours. I’m happy to work with each owner to maintain their dog's normal overnight routine.

A typical day
I work dogs' care and exercise needs into my daily routine. With my own dog, this includes 2-3 walks per day (usually about 20-30 minutes each). I have an entire basket full of dog toys and old stuffed animals your dogs are welcome to play with (if they get energetic and destroy them, that's okay!)

- Let me know if your dogs have any special needs or routines that I should plan for. My preference is for dogs that are dog-friendly and will get along with my Bichon. If your dog is extremely high energy and requires multiple long walks, please let me know that in advance so I can confirm my ability to accommodate that on the date(s) you are requesting.
