Availability
I work part-time, which means your dog isn't competing with a packed schedule. Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 6:30 pm, I'm available for walks, drop-ins, or simply keeping your pup company.

Safety, trust & environment
Six years of professional walking taught me a few things. 1) Standard leash only, four to six feet, never retractable. I bring my own, but am happy to use yours. 2) Never rush a dog through a sniff, because that fire hydrant at the end of the block is important information and your dog knows it. 3) Always clean up after them. 4) No AirPods, ever; I’d rather keep an ear out for oncoming traffic and any renegade squirrels. 5) Make walks fun. That means positive reinforcement, goofy voices, and treats for good sits and stays. Treats are on me.
Information Adam D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog is reactive, has any medical needs, or is afraid of anything at all (mine has a love-hate relationship with water).
A typical day
Fetch, trick training, hide-and-seek with treats, and puzzle toys (which I would bring). I like keeping dogs engaged, physically and mentally. A walk is great. A walk plus a puzzle toy plus learning a new trick is even better.

Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs. First, an eighty-pound lab with a five-hundred-pound personality. Then a water dog who swam with me all summer in Lake Michigan. And bulldogs, so many bulldogs. Now my wife and I live in Easthampton with a fifteen-pound walking Beanie Baby we adopted from Dakin. I could not live without dogs, and I wouldn’t want to. I would treat your dog like my own.
