Safety, trust & environment
I live in a well-appointed industrial loft in Lawrenceville, right where Lawrenceville, Polish Hill, and the Strip District meet. It is a lively, walkable area with easy access to the riverfront trail, multiple dog parks, and Washington’s Landing. The neighborhood offers a strong mix of urban energy and nearby green space, with plenty of sidewalks, river paths, and parks within a short walk. It is a great setting for dogs, with constant neighborhood activity, new sights and smells, and easy access to quieter areas along the water for longer walks.

Information Adam C. would like to know about your pet
The most helpful things for owners to share are anything related to behavior, triggers, and daily routine. This includes how your dog reacts to other dogs, people, or busy environments, any leash habits or reactivity, and whether they need space in certain situations. Please also include feeding instructions, medication schedules, allergies, and any health considerations. The more context I have upfront, the better I can keep your dog safe, comfortable, and consistent with their normal routine.
A typical day
A typical day revolves around long, structured walks and giving dogs time to explore their environment at a comfortable pace. I focus on letting dogs be dogs, which means plenty of sniffing, movement, and mental stimulation, while always staying alert to surroundings and other dogs to prevent any conflict or unnecessary stress. Safety is the priority at all times, and I adjust routes and pace based on each dog’s temperament, energy level, and comfort in urban settings. Owners often appreciate that their dogs come back relaxed, exercised, and well-balanced rather than just “tired out.”

WFH professional and pet lover
Pet care experience
I’ve been on Rover for over three years and have earned 50+ five-star reviews by providing dependable, attentive care that keeps both dogs and owners coming back. I grew up with pets, raised my own Staffordshire Terrier for four years, and have extensive experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My home is a safe, calm, and fun environment that many dogs treat as their own little vacation. As a large, athletic person, I’m completely comfortable handling everything from small companions to large, energetic breeds.
Reviews
As per usual, we were thrilled by Adam’s care of Lexi, as he sent us plenty of cute photos and took her on several long walks. She loves to stay with him and we couldn’t recommend his services enough. Thank you, Adam!

Adam always takes the best care of my two Bostons. He is responsive, responsible, and sends lots of great pictures.

Adam went above and beyond, making sure Trumpet got out for long walks on some really bitter cold days. He took such good care of her and her paws on the ice! Given the pictures of her cuddling with him (she won't cuddle with me) I have to assume she fell in love. I just hope she can be half as happy at home as she is with Adam.

Adam was awesome. Not only was he great with my girl but he was very kind in dealing with me, this being the first time I’ve left my girl anywhere before. He reassured me she was good and responded patiently when I asked for constant updates. I actually think she misses him upon returning home with me!!
