Raised the world’s most stubborn and high-maintenance 100lb Husky escape artist for 13 years. If I can handle him, I can handle your dog. Large breeds, seniors included, are my preference. I understand Seattle has a lack of Rover sitters willing to watch these types so I hope to fill that gap.

Adam was great with our dog older Peyton. It was our first time leaving him with any sitter after recently adopting him. Adam was responsive during the booking period, answered all of our questions, took detailed notes on our routine and sent us regular updates. We left Peyton with Adam while hiking Mt Rainier and he was even proactive enough to ask for a local contact who would have reliable cell service in the event of emergencies. When we picked up Peyton he was very playful and happy and had obviously been well taken care of. We would definitely use Adam again and recommend him to anyone else!

Adam was great with Pearl, and its always nice knowing a sitter is comfortable with large (stubborn) dogs. Adam communicated well and picked up and dropped of Pearly right on time with no issues.

Schedule
I work a regular job M-F from 9am-5pm. My general availability is from 5:30pm Friday evening through Sunday evening, but I’m flexible if your request requires additional time if discussed beforehand. Additional rates may apply.

I have a large park one block away from my home where dogs are able to run and play safely. My neighborhood is very walkable. My couch is your dogs couch.
A typical day
Start with a morning walk after breakfast, hang out in the afternoon if the dog feels like it, another walk before dinner, and one last walk before bed. But this can be tailored to the specific dog.
