Hi! I'm Adam and I'd love to be your go-to pet sitter! With over 10 years experience in caring for dogs, cats and everything in between, I'm able to look after even the pickiest pet. I've been lucky enough to grow up having dogs since I was young and more recently I've been the proud owner of 2 cats and a small parrot. I'm trained in pet care, dealing with behaviours such as leash anxiety and administering medications. 𝐆𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞: *Kitties* Every cat parent knows that kitties need that extra bit of care and experience that comes from having a close relationship with a cat. Most cats are finicky, many are shy and some are bundles of energy! Knowing when to coax one out with slow blinks and loving patience or when to keep another engaged with exciting toy chases and chin scratches makes all the difference. As a cat owner myself, I've gone through all stages of caring for both shy cats and playful ones, picky eaters and furniture climbers. I know how important routines are and how every kitty is different. Rest assured that I will be there to give yours the perfect mix of care and joy :) *Pups* They say dogs are a man's best friend, but really they are your unconditional life companion! Always there for a jog down a brand new path, cuddles and belly rubs on the couch, or being the first to spot when something's not right- pups just want to make us happy and they deserve the same in return. A good dog walker will be able to sense when your pup is shy about meeting new friends, when they need an extra jog or walk around the park to use up that abundant energy or when they've had enough and need some water and rest under a shady tree. I'm here to do all that and more; to be the walk partner they can always trust and count on for caring for them as you would! :)

Frankie loves staying with Adam and his family and we feel great knowing she’s in such good hands when she visits. Bonus that she gets exposure to young kids and is able to play with other pups when he has daycare sometimes too!

We were initially really nervous to leave Frankie overnight since she’s only 13 weeks old and can be a handful but she was in such good hands with Adam and we felt super safe and secure leaving her after meeting him. Wonderful communication and photo updates of our pup, we would absolutely use Adam again for future daycare/boarding needs.

I had a wonderful experience with Adam walking my husky mix while I was away recently. My dog is very large, and can be a bit reactive, but Adam was amazing with him. It is clear that he takes so much joy out of the time he spends with the animals and providing them with the best care. I got a message each day, letting me know how the walk went and how my boy was doing, which I really appreciated. It was my first time hiring a walker and it couldn't have gone better. I will absolutely be using Adam next time I have to be away.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and an older cat who is very relaxed and keeps to himself. It's a quiet neighbourhood. When visiting a pet in someone's home the utmost care is always given to be sure that your pet is as relaxed and comfortable as if it were you who was home. I also always make sure everything is left as it was found. I always bring in any packages I see that might be outside or water a particularly loved house plant while I'm there! :) Just leave me any extra instructions you might have!

A typical day
Long walks through the park, exploring new trails or strolling along the river are big favourites with all dogs. I'll make sure yours gets the right amount of exercise and feel like they're hanging out with their second best friend! :)
