I always take my dog for a walk first thing in the morning and before bedtime. I have Sundays off, and make time for dog adventures on those days.

I like to keep my pups busy with hikes and adventures! A tired pup is a happy pup in my opinion. I am happy to run with your pup if they have that extra high energy- I am a former track and cross country athlete! If your pup is past their prime, I’m happy to snuggle on the couch with them or take them for a leisurely stroll instead!

A typical day
Runs and hikes in the woods, long walks in the state park, swimming in the creek (followed by bath time), playing fetch, snuggling on the couch watching movies, working on fun training.

Pet care experience
I have worked in kennels, veterinary offices and grooming salons for the past 12 years, and am a professionally trained groomer. I have a great deal of experience with all types of dogs – monster sized dogs, pocket sized dogs (everything in between), senior dogs, dogs that require insulin injections, dogs with strict medication needs- you name it. I truly love them all! In my spare time, I’m usually wandering around in the woods with my dogs and cat. I also have a great deal of experience farm sitting- specifically for sheep, chickens, and horses/mules.

Ada is the best! She has been walking our 4 month old German Shepherd puppy for over two months. We are working with a trainer and Ada is always willing to work with us and follow our wishes for our pup. She puts the time and effort in just like our pup is her own. Can’t say enough good about her!!!! Thanks Ada for all your care and work with our pup.

Ada is the most patient, kind and gentle person I have ever met. I first got to know her at a local municipal county animal shelter I volunteered at. She was a friend of the kennel assistant I was helping shovel out on Sundays. She just started showing up to help. My shelter beagle Bailey loves her madly. Beagles don’t need much grooming, but my dog is lazy, overweight and messes with fire ants, field mice, bunnies, squirrels and an occasional turtle. Ada would wash her, trim her nails, clean her ears and even do the dreaded anal glands (she is a hound, it’s unavoidable and gross). She is the real deal. I would leave her in my house with my dog and cat and never think twice...
