We had Chloe watch our 9 week old GSD puppy for two nights. She sent pictures and he looked so happy! I appreciate that he had a fenced in yard to be loose in.

Chloe has watched Louie a few times. She is always very accommodating, sends updates and pictures without being asked, and Louie is always such a happy boy when it’s time for pick up. My dog Louie really enjoys the smells of all the other farm animals they have :)

I was extremely disappointed that my puppy was kenneled outside in a garage with access to the back yard through a doggy door. I feel that Abram should make clients very aware of that detail as most people seeking sitters have indoor dogs. *we are new to the area so finding a last minute replacement was not an option. Upon picking our puppy up, his ears were matted with burrs and his entire white tummy and front legs were yellow and covered in dried urine. I have no idea how that could even happen. He is 100% house trained so unless there were other dogs in the yard he was scared of or other dogs possibly entered his sleeping area. Abram was not present during drop off or pick up. I measured out his food as he is a 9 month old puppy, only a half of a cup was missing from the container we sent and he was there over 48 hours, I found that a bit disturbing as well. So, all in all, we were pretty disappointed in this experience.

This was the first time we have ever had to "kennel" any of our dogs, so we were nervous from the start. When we dropped our English Bulldog off, we found out she would be in an outdoor kennel in the garage.. We didn't have time to find someone else, so we had to leave her. Thankfully we brought a couple blankets for her. They did have heaters in the rooms, but with the awful weather and below zero temperatures, we were really kicking ourselves for not getting more information first. She is an indoor dog and loves being around people, so we were feeling awful for doing this to her. The reviews I read on other options on Rover gave us the impression that most kept the dogs in their homes. We never met Abram so I have no feedback for him. I assume his wife Chloe was the one to greet us at drop off and pick up, as she didn't have much to say. We were sent a few pictures, but I had to ask for updates a couple of times. They let us know she was doing fine and stayed warm, so that was reassuring. When we picked her up, she was happy to see us, but if we have to do it again, we will be more thorough in our placement.
