My highly anxious 8 year old Cockapoo has a difficult time meeting and trusting new people. I usually have to give clear and direct instructions, even with skilled dog handlers, to ease the transition. But with Ayelet and Abraham, they instinctively understood my dog’s unease and knelt down to his level, tempered their own energy, and quietly presented a hand for the dog to sniff. This set the stage for building trust and within a couple minutes my dog was happily and comfortably being pet and wagging his tail!
