Hi, I’m Abi! Animals have always been an important part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for a variety of pets through my own animals, as well as providing pet care for other families. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and my goal is always to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience with dogs and cats of different ages, personalities, and routines. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, enrichment, or simply someone patient to keep them company, I take the time to get to know their individual needs and personality. I know every animal is different, and I always do my best to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I’m currently a nursing student, which has strengthened qualities that I also bring into pet care: patience, attention to detail, responsibility, and compassion. I’m comfortable following specific instructions, keeping up with schedules, and communicating clearly. You can always expect updates and plenty of pictures, so you know your pet is happy and cared for. At home, I have my own rescue cat, Venus, who constantly reminds me how special the bond between people and their pets can be. I know pets are family, and I treat every animal I care for with the same kindness and attention I would want for my own.

I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and trusting environment for every pet in my care, whether in my home or a client’s home. I carefully follow all instructions provided, including feeding routines, medication schedules, exercise needs, and any specific preferences your pet may have. Building trust is very important to me, so I take the time to be patient, gentle, and attentive to each pet’s comfort level. I maintain a clean and secure space, ensuring there are no hazards and that pets feel relaxed and at ease. Sticking to a consistent routine helps pets feel safe and reduces stress, so I make sure to follow their usual schedule as closely as possible. My goal is to provide a loving, dependable environment where your pet feels cared for, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.

Abigale went above and beyond at house sitting for my animals! She is great at keeping my energetic and talkative cat, Moe, and two rowdy basset hounds, Dorothy and Mabel, calm and cool. They love seeing her again and again. I highly recommend Abigale to care for your pet(s)!

Schedule
As a nursing student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time throughout the week to providing quality pet care. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely look forward to and is the perfect balance to my busy school routine. I’m able to plan ahead for walks, drop-in visits, and quality one-on-one time with your pet to make sure they receive the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I always prioritize being dependable, on time, and present during each visit.
