I’m a college student at UT Austin but I have a very open schedule and am flexible with time, I just prefer a few days notice for new bookings so I can make sure my schedule works!

I absolutely love dogs and I know every pet is different and requires different needs and I would love to cater to each pet. I work well with pets that are on a schedule but I also work with the pets who are random and they choose when they want to eat, sleep, play, and go outside. I love active dogs that want to run around and fetch, but less active dogs are also my jam. My dog at home is a nervous and quiet dog so I have experience helping to calm pets down when they are anxious or feeling scared.
Information Abigail Z. would like to know about your pet
When I have done drop ins in the past I ask if there is a rough schedule the dog is on so I make sure to adhere to it as much as possible, but if the dog is the kind to give signs of needing to go outside or be fed instead that works as long as I am informed what usual signs it gives. If there are any special requests I can follow them as long as I am given a heads up the day before.
A typical day
Playing fetch and running around with active dogs is my favorite way to help them get some energy out whether that’s in the backyard or the nearby dog park. Dogs I have done drop ins for love to go on walks around the neighborhood and I like to see signs that they are ready to go back for a snack and a nap rather than I decide when to go back to ensure they are getting the most energy out!

Pet care experience
My whole life I have been around pets and have loved every minute of it! I’ve had a few dogs and a cat of my own and have dog sat for friends and neighbors. My typical experience with pets are small to medium dogs up to about 50 lbs, but I have also cared for larger dogs like mastiffs. I have volunteered a few times at animal shelters and love to spend time with the puppies and kitties in my free time for some relaxation. I have raised my pets at home from puppies and kittens so I have the experience of caring for the little wild ones. I would love to get the chance to continue my pet care career with animals that I adore and give them the chance to have some interaction while waiting for their owners to come home!

Abigail was wonderful. Communicated very well and very prompt. Our cats were well taken care off. We will use Abigail again when needed. Thanks for your help!

Highly recommend! Very accommodating for my last minute schedule changes. Easy to communicate with and takes great care of my little guy!
Abigail Zorola is a pet lover. She has cared for her own dog for over 10 years. Abby is very responsible, smart, and caring. She would take good care of any pet entrusted to her. I highly recommend her to be a pet guardian.
I first ran into Abby on Facebook marketplace last year and since then she has been my dog walker and occasional dog sitter. She has been very punctual, very good with my 12 year old chihuahua, and an overall great person to work with. If you get the chance to work with her, take it!
