Loving Doxie Family Ready For Pups!
Big Personalities Welcome: As lifelong Doxie parents, we speak "vocal and stubborn" fluently! We love dogs with big, strong personalities and know exactly how to handle them with patience, structure, and love. We raised our own mini dachshunds from puppies. One is now 9 and the other is 15. We know how to care for energetic puppies and gentle seniors alike. We are fully comfortable administering medications and complying with gentle, specialized needs. From precise medical schedules to extra patience for slow-moving pups, your dog's health and comfort are our top priorities.

Schedule
24/7 Supervision: I work from home four days a week, and my husband works from home two days a week. One of us is always here to provide constant care, companionship, and bathroom breaks. Family Fun & Love: Our two teenage daughters are incredibly kind, helpful, and love to actively play with our guest dogs. Your pup will get plenty of attention and affection from the whole family. The Perfect Setup: Dogs can explore safely in our large, fully fenced backyard. For exercise, our calm and highly walkable neighborhood is perfect for enjoying long, peaceful walks.

Around-the-Clock Care: Your dog will benefit from 24/7 supervision. We never leave guest pets unattended, giving you complete peace of mind while you are away. Safe, Slow Introductions: We always do a slow, controlled introduction with our two resident mini dachshunds. If everyone gets along, that is fantastic. Stress-Free Separation: If the dogs prefer their own space, we have the tools to completely separate them using secure baby gates to keep everyone comfortable and happy. Secure Outdoor Play: Our home features a large, fully fenced backyard. It provides a safe, enclosed environment for outdoor playtime, potty breaks, and fresh air. Customized Home Boundaries: We use baby gates to section off different areas of our house. This allows us to create separate, dedicated safe zones based on your dog's size or temperament. Flexible Crating Options: We have the full ability to crate your pet for meals, bedtime, or structured rest. We happily follow whatever routine your dog is already used to at home.

A typical day
Your dog's day will be packed with a perfect balance of energy and affection! We will kick off the fun with high-energy games of tug of war and enjoy plenty of running around in our secure backyard. We will head out for nice, refreshing walks to explore the neighborhood and stretch our legs. After a busy day of action, your furry family member can look forward to winding down with plenty of love, attention, and relaxing snuggle sessions.
