Highlights
Pet care experience
Experienced, adaptable and adept
I grew up with dogs and regularly looked after the neighbors’ dogs. I’d feed, clean, walk and entertain them. I volunteer at ACCT Philly animal shelter every week, so I know how to look after dogs with various needs and personalities.
Cat care experience
Abigail also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
My roommate’s cat isn’t friendly towards people, so I gave her space until she warmed up to me. I don’t touch her unless she initiates it. Same with dogs. ACCT Philly is a high-stress environment and volunteers have to know how to care for reactive dogs. I walk and crate them, as well as use treats, toys and space to help them warm up to me.
Ratings and reviews
Abby did a great job checking in on our lab while we were away. She sent pictures every time she visited and we came home to a happy boy. Thank you Abby !!
Absolutely incredible. Sent lots of pictures and showed my pup so much love while I was gone. Abigail was very easy to work with. Easily hopped in the phone to establish care needs and was very attentive to my pup. Highly recommend and will definitely be rebooking with them !
Abby is absolutely fantastic with dogs. She has significant experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments through her volunteer work with ACCT Philly. She will treat your dog as though it is her own with all of the love and care that entails. I would highly recommend Abby to care for your dog.
