⭐️ For 14 months I worked in a Boarding Kennel and Cattery that housed a large range of animals with different temperaments, health requirements, and behavioural needs. 🐾 Here I handled, groomed, fed, and walked dogs of all sizes and breeds, and learned how to maintain control over the dog and notice body cues and behaviours that indicate how they are feeling to ensure all dogs at the kennels remained happy and healthy in my care. ⭐️ I have been walking dogs my entire life from the age of three and regularly walk my Working Spaniel, Bruce. 🐾 Another passion of mine is dog training; I pride myself on the skills I have taught and reinforced within Bruce, including his recall, the wait command, and searching for specific objects.

Safety, trust & environment
⭐️ Before drop-in services are booked, introductions (meet and greets) must be arranged, so the owners and their pets are completely comfortable with the arrangement, to reduce stress and ensure safety. Drop-ins will vary depending on what the owner would like to be done but the standard would be: feeding, playtime, excerise in the garden, giving them company to reduce loneliness, health checking, and bathing if needed. 🐾 I am very flexible during dog walks to ensure that the personal needs of the dogs are met and they remain healthy and happy during the walk. ⭐️ Dogs will be kept on the lead during walks unless the owner specifically agrees for off lead walking and I have built up a trust with the dog to the point where I am confident in the dog’s recall and safety with other dogs and people. 🐾 Dogs will be walked separately if they are from different households unless specifically stated by the owner that they are comfortable with group walking and I am completely confident in the safety of all dogs on the group walk. ⭐️ I will only walk the dogs in places I deem appropriate to ensure the walks are comfortable and safe for me and the dog.

This was Abigails first time with our dog after an introduction session and all went really well. We had updates and pictures and he had lots of cuddles! Abigail was greeted by the biggest of welcomes from him and he was really at ease with her. 😁

Chance warmed up to abigail quickly. I had photos of their time together which put my mind at ease and abigail followed the instructions that were set for her. I really appreciate the effort she went to with making chance feel as ease around her.

I was super pleased with Abigail’s service, I came home to 3 happy cats. They had made a bit of a mess in the living room and Abigail kindly tidied it up. She played with them, fed them, and cleaned their litter trays and I had no worries whilst I was away, I knew they were in safe hands. I would definitely recommend and I’ll be booking with her again in the future.
Abi was fab with Millie for her first walk. Her communication was great! I know Millie is looking forward to the coming weeks' walks. Would highly recommend Abi. Thanks again :)

⭐️ I have completed my Animal Management Level 3 Extended Diploma. As I have finished my studies, I have plenty of time for dog walking and drop-ins during the weekend and weekday.
