Right now I’m fully available, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. Being unemployed at the moment allows me to be flexible and fully present for each pet’s needs. I can adapt to different schedules, whether it’s early mornings, evenings, or last-minute bookings. I love having the time to give animals the attention, comfort, and consistency they deserve.

I’ve got a fenced yard and two sweet dogs who love having company. I always do slow introductions to make sure everyone feels safe and gets along. I’m happy to crate if that’s part of your pup’s routine, or just keep things calm and cozy. Whether your pet stays with me or I come to you, I treat them like one of my own—lots of love, attention, and care so they feel totally at home.

Where Comfort Comes First

Pet care experience

I’ve cared for pets with all kinds of personalities, from playful puppies to calm, senior companions. What sets me apart is my patient, gentle approach and strong attention to each pet’s individual needs. I’m experienced with creating a calm, consistent environment, following feeding and medication schedules, and making sure pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I’m especially attentive to shy or older pets who need a little extra time and comfort. I treat every animal like family and always keep pet parents updated so they can feel confident and at ease.

I do not leave negative reviews lightly, but I feel it is important to share my experience so other pet owners can make an informed decision. When we initially scheduled a meet-and-greet, Abigail arrived significantly late. Punctuality is important to us, and we originally planned to move in another direction. However, she apologized, took responsibility, and asked for another opportunity, so we decided to proceed and booked a four-day overnight stay for our two dogs. Prior to the booking, we provided a detailed house and pet care manual that covered routines, feeding schedules, safety procedures, and expectations for our home. Unfortunately, from the first day, there were numerous instances where those instructions were not followed. Many of the questions and issues that arose were already addressed in the manual, creating concerns about whether the information had been thoroughly reviewed. After the first day, I had a lengthy phone conversation with Abigail to address several specific concerns and clarify expectations for the remainder of the stay. Despite that conversation, some of the same issues occurred again the very next morning, with the explanation being that she had forgotten. This was particularly concerning because consistency and attention to detail are critical when caring for pets and someone else’s home. The overall experience left us feeling uncomfortable throughout the trip, as we did not feel confident that instructions were being followed consistently. Upon returning home, one of our dogs, who rarely experiences health issues, became severely ill with vomiting and diarrhea, requiring a veterinary appointment. While I cannot definitively attribute that illness to Abigail’s care, the timing, combined with the other concerns we experienced during the stay, further impacted our confidence in the service provided. Ultimately, we did not feel our dogs or our home received the level of care, attention, and responsibility that we expected. Based on our experience, I would not book with Abigail again and cannot recommend her to other pet owners.

Abigail did a great job looking after my pup Bruno. He seems to be comfortable with her and she made sure to keep me updated.

Abigail was great with my Sophie. I could tell Sophie was comfortable with her by the pics she sent. It’s good to know I have someone affordable that I can trust to take care of my sweetheart in our home where she is comfortable.

Abigail was great with my girls! She was so great my girls started to miss her afterwards. She took them out on walks and gave them a lot of cuddles. She was even open to staying an extra day when I noticed I had messed up the sitting days which I am very grateful for. She kept us updated and let us know everything was good.
