Hi! I’m Abby, a lifelong dog lover and professional belly-rub giver 🐾 I’m a recent college grad working at Microsoft, and I live on Capitol Hill with my girlfriend in a very dog-friendly condo with plenty of cozy space for your pup to relax. I’ve had dogs my entire life and truly can’t imagine a home without them. While we don’t have one of my own right now, that just means I have extra love and attention to give to yours! I’ve also volunteered with a service dog training organization, so I’m comfortable with different temperaments and understand the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. On weekends, I’m happy to host dogs of all ages and energy levels, whether that means long walks, park adventures, or couch cuddles. During the weekdays, since I work during the day (with a reliable lunch break for walks and check-ins), I’m best suited for older or lower-energy dogs who enjoy a calm, cozy environment. Your dog will be treated like family in my home with lots of love, attention, and updates included! 🐶💛

Was great with Bode while I was gone for Labor Day weekend. She offered to take him on hikes and long neighborhood walks. She understood his personality quarks. Sent good picture updates!
Abby was fantastic!! Lots of updates, and you can tell she really enjoys doggos. Communication is quick and easy, and she’s very pleasant! Pups came home happy and healthy. I’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Schedule
I live on Capitol Hill and work at Amazon Web Services. On weekends, I’m happy to care for high-energy dogs and make sure they get plenty of attention. During the weekdays, I’m typically at work from 8:00–3:30, but I can come home at lunch for a potty break. Because of that schedule, weekdays are a better fit for older or lower-energy dogs.

I live in a dog-friendly condo on Capitol Hill, and we go on lots of walks! Depending on your dog’s energy level, we’ll either walk to Volunteer Park for some extra space to explore or, for smaller dogs, drive there and enjoy a stroll. We also love walking around the Hill and stopping at smaller grassy areas along the way for sniff breaks and fresh air.
