Hi, I’m Abigail. I’ve been working in pet care for over 10 years, including 8 years as a professional groomer and 5 years of experience in boarding and drop-in care. 🐾 My foundation is in professional grooming, where I’ve built extensive hands-on experience working with dogs of all coat types, sizes, and temperaments. I’m especially confident with high-maintenance coats, large shedding breeds, and dogs who need consistent upkeep or gentle, patient handling. Grooming is my primary focus and passion, and it has shaped the way I understand and care for animals. Alongside grooming, I’ve worked in kennel and daycare environments, which strengthened my ability to safely manage group dynamics, recognize stress signals, and adapt to a wide range of personalities. I also have additional early-career experience in veterinary settings, which supports my understanding of basic health awareness, medication routines, and when something may need attention. I’m comfortable with senior pets, puppies, anxious or reactive dogs, and pets with special routines or medical needs. I also have lifelong experience with cats, having always grown up with them in the home. I am currently based in southwestern Connecticut and at this time I am focusing exclusively on drop-in care and pet support services. 🐾

For every visit, I ensure: All doors and entry points are properly secured before and after outdoor time Pets are always leashed before going outside Water is fresh and feeding instructions are followed exactly Any changes in behavior, appetite, or health are communicated promptly

Abigail provided such a safe, loving environment for me two large dogs. She KNOWS dogs and it was very comforting to be able to trust that she knew how to handle them. We even splurged to have them groomed by her and they were squeaky clean upon picking them up! I received many updates and my dogs were very happy with their stay. Diesel and Clover give her 5 Wags!
Abigail was wonderful with our 2 rowdy boys, they came home happy and well loved. Will absolutely be using her again and would recommend her to anyone!

Abigail takes great care of the dogs she boards very well! Updates were consistent and I was never worried about Ms. Hero while she was there’s. We did have a specialized feeding schedule and she worked with us to achieve it, which was awesome! Thank you Abigail (and Nathan!)

Schedule
Outside of my pet stylist career, I dedicate my time to building my Rover family! Sundays and Mondays have open availability and outside of that typically it’s early morning before I’m headed to work or after 5pm. 🐾 Services include: Feeding and fresh water Medication administration Walks and enrichment visits Playtime and companionship Nail trims, brush-outs, baths, and light grooming maintenance (upon request) Transport to/from grooming or veterinary appointments if needed
