I'd love to know what your dogs typical routine is, so I can best adhere to it during their time in my care. Anything that they really enjoy, or anything they're really afraid of. If they're reactive around food or being touched at all is always good information! Also, it's helpful to know if they have any allergies or medical needs in case of emergency.
A typical day
As long as the dog is up to it, I love going on hikes with my dogs. They love running around, smelling things and getting outside. We also love playing fetch and running around in the yard! Most of all, your pup can expect tons of love during my time with them - attention, positive reinforcement, pets and snuggles, playing with toys, following their lead and comfort levels. They have all of me during my time with them.

My favorite part of dogsitting is heaping love on animals so they know they are well loved while their human is away - and the love they reciprocate to me during our time together! I love to take adorable photos of your animals to share from our visit. I did dogsitting in my home through Rover 2018-2020. I had to stop for a couple years once I moved in 2020. I decided to start doing pet care again in 2023 (dog walking, drop in visits, cat care, etc) to fill the animal-shaped hole in my heart! I've been a dog owner for 8 years now and lived with 2 dogs for 3 years. I raised my corgi Nyla from puppyhood, so I am intimately familiar with puppy care (all the ups and downs). I love dogs of all shapes and sizes. I've lived with a wide variety of dogs via roommates over the years, and spent a year before I got my dog researching and learning about dog training, behavior, psychology and body language. When dogsitting I worked with dogs of all ages, temperaments, sizes, and personalities. All my experience means I know how to listen to dogs well, understand them, meet them when they're at, and show them compassion at all times.

Abigail is absolutely amazing! She takes such great care of my cat whenever she watches her. She writes amazing updates for me and takes adorable pictures to put my mind at ease. I cannot recommend her enough! Your pets would be delighted to have her take care of them!
Abby has been so nice to have care for our pup! I love reading her descriptive report cards after every visit. It helps me not feel so far away from my dog when on vacation.
Abigail went above and beyond in every aspect of dog care! She was extremely detail oriented and left extensive reviews with photos of our guys while we were on vacation and when our flight was delayed 7 hours she was extremely accommodating and understanding and able to stay longer to make sure our guys were safe and happy!!
