Grad student loves dog sitting!
I’ve loved dogs all my life, and finally convinced my mom to adopt a dog during Covid. I’ve lived with roommates’ dogs for most of the past 5 years, and now I’m considering getting my own. But in the meantime I’m trying out the gig economy with pet sitting and some fostering opportunities :) I am flexible with what services I can offer based on your needs. Abby did a great job watching my elderly dog for almost 2 weeks. She administered daily meds perfectly, and with great care. She also spent lots of time with Mathilda, and made her so comfortable while I was away, sticking to her usual schedule and habits. Abby checked in when needed, but was quietly confident in her ability to take care of my girl. I would highly recommend Abby for daily visits, or overnight stays. She’s great to work with, kind, conscientious and fun!
Abby has cared for my dog several times over the past few years and is incredible! She is very trustworthy, responsible, and responsive. Harley always has a great time staying with her. When Harley was a puppy, Abby always wore her out and she would come home exhausted. Would recommend 10/10!!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
My summer schedule is pretty flexible apart from a part-time retail job. I live in Carrboro but I am often in Durham and am willing to travel to pet sit. I tend to be home in the evenings and love to have a pet share tv-time with me :)
Where your pet will stay

I will not be keeping dogs in my own home, so safety and security will depend on the owners house and preferences. Happy to discuss further
