I have been pet sitting for about 11 years, and have had family pets (both dogs and cats, rodents, fish) for my entire life. I have experience caring for senior cats of my own and as a cat sitter, as well as dogs with anxiety and special medical needs. I am comfortable and have experience with other house-sitting duties as well, such as watering plants, cleaning litter, etc. I am responsible, caring, and patient, and I currently have an apartment full of plants and 2 happy, healthy cats of my own whom I love very much! I take it as my responsibility to make sure that your pet is happy, healthy, and comfortable!

In order to best care for your pet, my goal is to keep their schedule as normal as possible (feeding/walking/play times). I know how important it is that your pet gets as much love and attention as possible while you are gone, and I will make sure to spend that time with them as well as taking care of their needs.

Abby is the best! She took such great care of my cat and sent great photos and updates while I was away. Her schedule was flexible so she was able to come to check on him and many different times throughout the day. I was so pleased to come home to a clean house and the litter box taken care of, she went above and beyond!
Abby was brought up in a home that always had dogs and cats that she was instrumental in caring for. She has a real love of animals and is kind, caring, and responsible with them. In addition to her own pets she has pet sat for many friends, family, and neighbors pet over the years. You can be sure that any pet she is responsible for is in very good hands and will be very well taken care of.

Schedule
During the year I am a substitute school teacher, so I have a very flexible schedule. Some days I work half days, never later than 4 pm or earlier than 8 am. I am more than happy to come provide care in the morning and afternoon/evening, and may even be available throughout the day depending on the school schedule.
