Loving Care for Your Furry Friends
I've had pets basically my whole life. As a kid, this included cats, dogs, beta fish, hermit crabs, and rats. One of the first things I did when I graduated college and moved out of the dorms was to adopt a cat of my own. She was an adorable, 13-year-old, black cat with only 4 teeth and the loudest purr! I have been helping care for other's pets since high school when I would help watch my neighbor's animals. Since then, I have helped watch the pets of friends, family members, coworkers, and strangers through Trusted House Sitters. Those pets have included cats, dogs, and a bearded dragon. My most adventurous experience was watching the animals on a ranch. There were cows that free-roamed the fields, a garden that I helped keep alive during a heat wave, a barn cat, an energetic young puppy that bounded through the fields all day long, and an older dog that recently had his leg amputated and was adjusted to the three-legged life. It was a new experience for me, but I rose to the challenge and we had a great time! With them and any pet care, I ask owners for any details I need and then treat the pets with the most love and care I can. I know how stressful it can be to trust your loved ones with a stranger, so I do my best to keep them happy and you up-to-date with pictures.

Abigail is amazing! I have an easy but not-so-easy senior dog dealing with doggy dementia and Abby took care of my baby with such genuine care. Just the week prior to my trip I was so full of anxiety leaving my girl, but Abby did a phenomenal job keeping me up to date with her and easing any anxiety I had. I had a great trip, and London had a wonderful time with her new friend.
Thank you so much for taking such good care of our two doodles and our home while we were away. Communication was excellent, we got regular updates, and the dogs were clearly happy and comfortable. We came home to a clean house and very well-loved pups. Would absolutely book again!
I’m always thrilled when Abby is available to watch our two dogs. She has amazing patience for these two lovely but what can be high need dogs. They like having ample attention and she gives it to them. We know they will be well cared for when we are away. She’s my first go to. We have used her multiple times and been very happy every time. Very trusting which is good since she stays overnight with the two dogs. Will call her again for next trip.
Abigail pet-sat for me on and off for several months while traveling extensively. Leaving your pets behind is always a struggle, but Abby made it easy. Sometimes, I needed 2 or 3 days; other times, I needed 2 or 3 weeks, and Abby accommodated me as best as she could. I am pretty sure my dogs were almost as sad to see her leave when I got home as they when I had to leave lol. If it helps, I have two huge dogs that Abby cared for. They are good but not great on leashes. Abby managed them perfectly. I would not hesitate to use Abby's services at any time I was in need.
Abby has watched my family’s dogs multiple times. We have one German shepherd/ husky mix and one Pomeranian/ chihuahua mix. She’s comfortable with both big and small dogs. She stays at our house to watch them. She plays with them. She lets them outside when they need to go outside. Our dogs love her. As soon as she sits down the little one is immediately on her lap. I will continue to use her to watch our dogs whenever we need. Your pets will love her!

Schedule
I'm currently working on a couple of different online projects that are part-time and primarily can be done at any time. Because of that, it is pretty easy for me currently to schedule walks and house visits as needed and then fit my work in around the pet's needs. For any sits that I would need to stay overnight in your space, I can easily accommodate that as long as I have access to the internet, whether that is yours or just enough reception to use a mobile hotspot on my phone. I, unfortunately, cannot do any boarding at this point due to living in an apartment complex that won't allow it.

Safety, trust & environment
I cannot do any boarding at this point and thus will not have pets in my space. I have years of experience staying in other people's spaces via Airbnb and experience staying in people's spaces for pet sitting. I make sure to go over expectations whether just for picking up a dog for a walk or for an extended stay.
A typical day
Each pet is unique, so I'll tailor activities to their individual needs and preferences. Whether that means curling up on the couch reading/watching tv together for the more relaxed ones, going to their favorite dog park, or playing fetch in the backyard, I'll do what I can to keep your pet's lives normal and happy while you're away.
