CPR Certified. I have worked with dogs for 15+ years. I am currently a professional canine behaviorist and trainer. I have been training for 4 years after attending Starmark Academy. I have worked in boarding/daycare facilities for 15 years. Luxury and plenty of attention is my specialty! I tried my hand at grooming but it wasn't my favorite. I do have different brushes for different coats so I am able to brush your pup. Hygiene is important! I have worked with hundreds of breeds of dogs along with special needs, seniors, and playful puppies as well.

Our dog so clearly loves Abbi!!!

Abbi is so intentional and caring with our dog! It has been a while since we tried a dog sitter because we needed someone who would understand our dog’s anxious tendencies and respond to her cues. I feel SO at peace leaving Ivy with Abbi!! :)

Abbi is incredible with our young golden doodle! We’ve worked with her for one-on-one training, intensive board-and-train, and for short-term dog sitting! Our girl loves going to see Abbi! Abbi provides detailed updates with photos and videos every time our girl is with her! She is conscientious about food allergies and administering meds, and we trust her so much with our dog!
Abbi has been a God send to my babies and family! Our fur babies absolutely love her. When we go on vacation it is without worry because we know Ziva and Kimberly will be taking care of by someone who loves them almost as much as we do. She makes sure they are feed and gives them their vitamins while giving them reinforcement of their training. When we return it as if we were not gone. I believe she will be a welcomed addition to your dog’s life as she is the most “doggie” lover I know!!! We love Auntie Abbi🐾🐾
Abbi is amazing with my dogs. She is my go to for boarding and training. My dogs are always happy at Abbi's! She reaches out to reassure me of their care and how they are doing throughout their stay. My old girl has bad allergies and Abbi always keeps me updated on how her skin is and if I want her to purchase anything for her skin while I'm gone. She has applied topical medicine and has given her allergy supplements to help my girl our during her stay. She also has helped train my puppy as well during their board. She has learned so much through Abbi's patience, guidance, attention and love for dogs. Abbi trains with rewards, not discipline. She does not use any inhumane collars, discipline or raised voices. She is patient, kind, caring, and wants to help dogs and their humans learn. I trust Abbi with my dogs completely. Along with boarding, she also does an amazing job coming to my house to check on, feed and help care for my cats when I'm gone. She is an amazing animal advocate. I will always go to Abbi for any of my training, boarding or animal needs!

Schedule
My days are nothing but dogs! I am home all the time. I wake up, let my dogs out, feed them, let them out again and then make sure they rest till their food digests. Then we have a 30-45 minute training session including play. They come inside and rest some more. I make pupsicles and let my dogs lick the spoon. We play some more. If there are no other dogs boarding with me, I love to take my dogs to the park, lake, or pet friendly store. It makes for excellent training, mental, and physical stimulation. We come home rest, eat, and the last few hours of the night they get their pupsicles and we go to bed.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard. If your dog can jump a 6 ft fence, I also have a 30ft and a 50ft long line to keep them on during outside time. This way they can still run around. I have 2 dogs myself and if your pup gets along with them they can play with 100% supervision from me, a certified professional trainer and behaviorist. If your dog isn't dog friendly, no problem! I do rotations with the dogs and if needed, will be walked through my house with a leash. Even if they are friendly, your dog still gets one on one time with me and time to take a break from my dogs. Your dog will always have a safe space, this is why I do require them to be kenneled in my house when I am gone or it's bedtime. It's their "bedroom," their space to decompress, and safety always comes first. For my senior dogs or dogs going through medical treatment, I do have a larger pen they can stay in if I have to leave the house to get groceries or do a private training session. I feed all dogs separately in their safe space and none of the dogs are allowed in each other's space. If you have two dogs, I do require them to be kenneled separately. They can be side by side but they must have their own kennel/crate.
