I am incredibly detailed and I love a schedule. Whenever I house sit or visit a pet I like to follow all rules and instructions a parent gives me. I recognize that animals feel most secure with routine, so I am happy to follow whatever procedures you have in place already. I am comfortable with taking walks, playing games, and feeding/giving treats in a manner that fits a pets needs. For example, I once dog sat a dog who would only use the bathroom in a certain area on a walk. Because the parent informed me, we never had an accidents or incidents.

The most helpful thing a pet parent can do is list out their expectations and processes. For example, if you also let the dog go outside first, then give a treat, then play fetch; that is helpful. I want to make sure I am following you and your pets normal activities.
A typical day
I think it's important to make sure dogs get exercise and stimulation everyday. Taking walks and allowing dogs a chance to sniff and explore. I can play fetch with a dog for as long as needed. I am also happy to set up any puzzles or activities such as putting their food in a puzzle board.

Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting for the past few years for friends and family and I have even dog sat internationally a few times as well. I am familiar with all sizes and ages of dogs. Growing up I had labradors, so energetic dogs who need exercise and attention is something I am used to. I am the type or person who visits your house and has to great the dog before the other people.

Abigail did an excellent job staying at my house and taking care of our 2 dogs and 2 cats while we went out of town. She is very trustworthy and I really appreciated the daily photos!! I will call Abby next time for sure. Thanks Abby!!
Abigail was awesome. She came right on time each day and gave Hubie lots of love. The pictures she sent me showed he loved every minute of it. I would highly recommend Abigail!
