Lifelong Animal Lover Ready to Help

I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and currently have 7 pets of my own, including dogs, cats, and small animals. I’ve cared for a wide range of pets—dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, birds, and even reptiles and ferrets. I’ve worked at a pet store and volunteered at dog, cat, and rabbit shelters, giving me experience with pets of all temperaments, ages, and care needs. Whether it’s playtime, basic training, senior care, or administering meds, I’ve done it and I treat every pet like family.

Safety, trust & environment

In a client’s home, I always aim to keep pets comfortable by following their routine closely—feeding schedules, walk times, play habits, and any special instructions. I make sure they feel safe, loved, and not alone, whether I’m staying overnight or just dropping in. I clean up after them, keep their space tidy, and give lots of attention and affection. During walks, I focus on safety, stimulation, and making it fun for your pet! My goal is always to make your absence feel as stress-free as possible—for both you and your pet.

Abigail was just what we needed for a drop in visit for our 5 month old puppy. She played with him, fed him, and even gave him some medicine. I would recommend Abigail to anyone because of the quality of care and her trustworthiness.

Abby was WONDERFUL! The care and the love she gave our fur baby was amazing. She gave our dog lots of attention by walking her, playing with her inside and outside. Not was our dog given the best of care, but also our home. We came back to a very happy dog and a well kept house! Thank you so much!!!

Abigail was awesome! She was available for us for multiple trips we took out of town and she sent photos daily of our two kitties. The day before our 2nd trip we discovered our one cat wasn’t well and had to rush to get medication for him. Abigail administered his medication every morning and we couldn’t be more grateful! I will be reaching out next time we need a cat sitter!

Schedule

I’m a college student home for the summer, giving me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets! Depending on the week, I’m available most times. I make it a priority to be fully present and attentive during my visits—whether that means playtime, check-ins, walks, or just giving your pet some extra love and cuddles. Your pet's comfort and routine are my top priority while you're away.

It’s important for me to know your pet’s daily routine, energy level, personality, and any quirks or triggers. I’d also like to know about their health needs (medications, allergies, past injuries), how they are with other animals and people, and if they have any training or behavioral concerns I should be aware of. The more details you share, the better I can make your pet feel safe, happy, and cared for!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
