Hi! My name is Abby and I am 35 years old. I work from home Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm. I have been watching pets since I was a kid! My uncle next door had a dog who had 3 litters of golden retriever mixes. I helped him raise and take care of them. In college, I was a nanny for a family with a lab and black cat. When they were out of town I took care of their pets. I nannied for a second family a few years later and babysat their golden retriever, bunny, and 2 persian cats when they would go on vacation as well. At times I would also babysit my sister’s chihuahua mix overnight. I had two cats for about 10 years.I also own two sugar gliders. I have a miniature pincher mix, she is the friendliest dog and gets along with any dog or person. Couch potato all day kind of dog but loves to go play with other dogs at the dog park. Pets and children are my specialty. I love all animals even if I am allergic to most of them :).

Abby would be a wonderful addition to the Rover.com family! She is sweet, caring, loving, kind, and responsible. She has cared for many pets over the years, and absolutely loves animals. She is an excellent caretaker, and just an amazing person!
Abby is a trustworthy and caring pet (or even human!) sitter. She has cared for my little Ladybird more times than I can count, and Bird loves her.
Abigail is awesome. You can tell she really loves all animals. She has great energy, is very responsive and very kind. She has always treated my baby Onyx like her own. Very respectful of boundaries as well, overall highly recommend.

Schedule
I work from home mon-fri 7am-3pm. My dog gets me out of the house and if she has a friend to walk with or visit, it would be a fun playdate for her as well!

I have given meds to both my cats since they are seniors. My sister’s dog had pills she had to take as well, which i would do when i babysat her. I am pretty easy going with what i need to do for who ever asks me to watch their pets because I care about what they need. I am the girl at a friends house playing with their cat and dog most of the time.

A typical day
Walks are always fun, i love playing fetch and tug of war with my dog. Hiking trails are my favorite to walk and i could take a dog there too!
