I’m new to Rover, but not new to pet care. I’ve grown up with animals my entire life and have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. My family has always had dogs and a cat, and now that I’m in college, I live with a roommate who has a dog as well — animals have always been a constant part of my everyday life. One thing I hear often is that pets tend to warm up to me quickly. I’m naturally calm, patient, and attentive, and I take the time to let animals approach me at their own pace. I pay close attention to body language and personality, which helps pets feel safe and understood, especially if they’re shy, anxious, or sensitive to new people or environments. I’ve cared for pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, including overnight stays and extended care. Whether your pet needs structured routines, playful energy, or quiet companionship, I adjust to what makes them feel most comfortable. Animals have always been a grounding presence in my life, and caring for and forming bonds with them is something I truly enjoy — not just something I do.

Abby is the best! She is a long time dog and cat owner. She goes out of her way to comfort an play with any animal she comes across. You can absolutely trust your pet with her. She’s watched my foster puppy before and I had no doubts that my baby was in the best hands!

I’m currently on winter break with very open availability, flexible scheduling, and the ability to accommodate last-minute requests. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, sitting, and extended care, and I prioritize being present and attentive rather than rushing through visits.
