Pet care experience
Available when you need it!
I've been around dogs my entire life. I have experience with different breeds and ages. I am very flexible when it comes to scheduling. I can provide two long walks each day and make sure your dog is happy while you are gone! Not only do I have experience with small dogs, but I have boarded many large dogs and even had a Husky as a kid so I understand the energy level of large dogs. I can easily provide walks, often potty breaks, and anything you need to make sure your dog is comfortable while you are away. When it comes to food, I've used wet food, dry food, and raw food so I understand the different preferences and how to serve it!

Ratings and reviews
Abigail, a 4th grade school teacher, was a wonderful pet sitter! She was diligent, reliable, and caring. She spent extra time with our cat Teddy, and emptied the trash before we came home. Teddy was clearly well taken care of, and I never worried about him. Thank you, Abigail!!
Abigail was great! I was given an update daily and felt very comfortable with her checking in on Bart.

Abigail was a great sitter. She was reliable, communicative, and closely followed the care instructions provided. I could tell she gave my cat lots of attention and quality care, and she felt like someone that I could trust. She left really detailed visit notes on the rover cards which I appreciated and I felt like my pet was well cared for while I was away.

Abigail was very responsive and took attentive care of my 1 year old pup. Will be booking with her in the future!

Would definitely use Abigail again. She sent lots of pictures and updates.

Abigail did great with my dog, Moose! Very accommodating and took great care of him for an overnight stay.

Calendar and availability
Schedule
I am a teacher so I have open availability during the summertime! My summer (and school year) is dedicated to taking care of animals and making sure their needs are met. Starting in August I am away during the day but can still provide care.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I treat all animals like they are my own. Your pets safety is my first priority! I live in an apartment so walks are frequent. Many pets can become sad or anxious when their owner is away so I am sure to be there for them to ease the vacation.

A typical day
I can provide walks around the surrounding neighborhoods and downtown Bethesda! If your dog is comfortable we can even go to the Bethesda Farmers Market. Walks are picked by the owner so they are comfortable with where their pet goes. There is a walking path near me as well that I enjoy exploring!

- I have experience with many kinds of dogs. I grew up with poodles, huskies, cocker spaniels and my sisters service dog— golden retrievers. I prefer to watch dogs who are friendly with cats. I own a cat who does not mind dogs. During boardings I ask that owner bring food/water bowl, kennel (if needed), treats, toys, and a bed. This makes boarding easier for me and your pet! I prefer to walk large dogs that are leashed trained and do not run/pull. Detailed care instructions is important to provide the best care possible.
