Hi! I’m Abigail 🐾 I recently moved to Lakeland after spending three years as a Rover sitter in Cincinnati, and I’m excited to start meeting pets and their people here in Central Florida! Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with dogs and have experience volunteering at animal shelters, fostering, and caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs. I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs and pets who need a little extra care, including administering medication and following detailed care routines. When I’m not pet sitting, I’m a teacher in Lake Alfred. I live in Lakeland, so I’m conveniently between both areas and can be flexible with location depending on your pet’s needs and my schedule. I’m not in a position to have a dog of my own right now, which makes getting to care for other people’s pets especially meaningful to me. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away—and for you to have the peace of mind of knowing they’re being cared for like one of my own. 🐶❤️

I follow your care instructions closely and prioritize your pet’s safety, comfort, and security at all times. I’m experienced with senior dogs and understand that every pet has different needs, routines, and personalities. I’ll treat your pet and your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m experienced with senior dogs and medication, and will keep you updated with regular photos and messages.

Abigal was very dependable and took great care of Finn for us from a Thursday to a Sunday afternoon. I was always able to get in touch with her with any questions I had. We hope she will be available for our next trip .
I can’t say enough great things about Abigail. She cared so tenderly for my senior pup and when my pup had a medical emergency during her stay Abigail jumped right into action seeing to it that my pup got to the ER and back home safely. She stayed in communication the whole time and went above and beyond. I highly recommend A+++.

Schedule
As a teacher, I have a consistent weekday schedule as well as weekends and school breaks available for pet care. I live in Lakeland and teach in Lake Alfred, which gives me flexibility to accommodate clients in both areas and nearby communities. Depending on location and timing, I’m available for morning and evening walks or drop-ins, as well as extended stays and weekend care. I’m happy to work with you to keep your pet as close to their normal routine as possible.
