I have always loved animals ever since I was a kid. Whether it was pet sitting a family friends dog or feeding my neighbors cats, I have always found joy in caring for animals. Before my family adopted our dog Amber I would pet sit dogs as often as possible. These experiences have taught me many lessons and helped me to have patience and provide dogs and cats with the right amount of support. My family adopted our dog Amber seven years ago and I have been her primary care taker including feeding and walking her. We got her as a puppy and I was responsible for training her. Amber gets along very well with other pets and we have had other dogs stay with us, and they get along very well. I also worked at a doggy day care facility that included a swimming portion, where I would monitor and motivate dogs to swim and get a good workout in. This job helped me gain experience with all different sizes and temperaments of dogs. I was able to manage up to 15 dogs at a time, making sure no fights broke out and they all stayed happy.
