Pet care fits pretty naturally into my routine. I’m currently a full-time student at Auburn University, so stopping by for a walk or playtime during the week should be easy. I’m available for various times throughout the week and most weekends.

I keep things simple and comfortable for the pets I’m caring for. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine — feeding, fresh water, walks, and plenty of playtime and attention throughout the day. I make sure they get bathroom breaks, exercise, and some company so they don’t feel lonely. It’s really about keeping them relaxed in their own space and making sure everything feels as close to “normal” as possible while their owners are away.

Pet care experience
I’ve been around animals my whole life, so caring for pets feels completely natural to me. I currently have two dogs of my own, which keeps my skills sharp and my home full of energy. What sets me apart is how comfortable I am with all kinds of pets—playful puppies who need structure, older pets who need a gentler pace, and everything in between. I’m patient, reliable, and really good at reading what an animal needs to feel safe and happy.

Abby is a reliable, smart, intuitive, selfless, and fun pet caregiver. Remy, my five-month-old Cavapoo, is a typical puppy--adorable and playful, but full of puppy energy, chomps, and unpredictability. When Abby takes care of Remy, she meets all his needs and more. For example, she plays with him and when he goes to bite her hand with his little puppy teeth, she redirects exactly as I asked her to with a toy or chew stick to encourage better behavior. She also once drove Remy 2.5 hours for me when my husband and I were out of town; on the ride, she made frequent stops to accommodate his puppy bladder, and offered him water when she noticed he was panting. An excellent caregiver with a huge heart, Abby will make sure your pets are not only taken care of, but loved and appreciated as well.
