Safety, trust & environment
Safety, trust, and a calm environment are my top priorities when caring for pets. I always aim to keep pets comfortable by sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine. In a client’s home, I focus on creating a low-stress experience by maintaining their usual feeding schedule, potty routine, and favorite activities. I make sure doors, gates, and windows are always secure, and I’m very mindful about things like keeping harmful foods or small objects out of reach. I also keep their space clean. This includes refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes or pet areas daily, and making sure everything stays sanitary and comfortable. I pay close attention to behavior and health, so if anything seems off, I’ll communicate right away. I’m also experienced with administering medications and following detailed care instructions exactly as given.
Information Abigail G. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for any pet, I think it’s really important to know their routine, personality, and any specific needs ahead of time so I can give them the best care possible. I like to understand their feeding schedule, favorite activities, energy level, and how they typically behave. Whether they’re social, shy, or need extra patience. I also make sure to know about any medical needs, allergies, or medications, as well as emergency contacts and vet information. Little details like what they’re afraid of, what comforts them, or any habits they have (like hiding or getting into things) are super helpful too.
A typical day
I love making sure pets have fun, stay active, and feel mentally stimulated while you’re away, and I always tailor activities to their personality and energy level. For cats, I focus on interactive play with toys like feather wands, lasers, or toy mice, along with puzzle toys or treat games to keep them engaged, plus relaxing activities like window watching or gentle brushing if they enjoy affection. For dogs, I include walks based on their routine, playtime like fetch or tug-of-war, and enrichment activities like sniffing games or basic training reinforcement. No matter the pet, I also make sure they get plenty of attention, companionship, and love so they feel comfortable, happy, and cared for the entire time.

Pet care experience
What sets me apart as a sitter is the level of care, attention, and consistency I bring to every pet like they’re my own. I don’t just “watch” pets, I actively engage with them, learn their routines, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience with puppy training, including basic commands, potty training routines, and helping reinforce good habits like crate training and leash manners. I’m patient and consistent, which is key for younger dogs who are still learning. I’m also very comfortable with senior pet care. I understand that older pets often need extra attention, whether that’s administering medications, sticking to strict feeding schedules, helping with mobility, or just providing a calm, gentle environment. My goal is to make your pet feel as stress-free as possible and give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands.
Reviews

Abigail was great-responded quickly to a last minute request. Will definitely use again.
I HIGHLY recommend! They took amazing care of my dog while I was away and kept me updated with photos and messages. It was clear my dog was comfortable and well cared for the whole time. I’d absolutely book with them again.
