Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My family has had dogs since before I was born, and these past couple years have been my first time without living with one. In addition to my own beloved dogs I had growing up, I’ve been pet sitting since I was 8 years old, giving me nearly 20 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Throughout my pet sitting experience, I’ve handled everything from high-energy puppies to senior dogs needing extra patience and support. I’ve assisted with grooming, bathing, brushing teeth, and even administering insulin shots and other medicines. With a background in psychology, I’m especially attentive to behavior and body language. I’m comfortable working with dogs who may be anxious, reactive, or just have big personalities—just like people, they all have their own stories and deserve understanding and care. Eventually, I would love to adopt my own puppy, but until I can give it the yard it deserves, I promise to always aim to make dogs feel safe, respected, and loved like they’re my own.
