Pet Care with Abigail
I can care for puppies right through to the senior dogs. My dogs enjoy 2 good walks a day plus regular toilet breaks. We play ball games and enjoy hikes in the local woods.

Abigail is absolutely amazing with my cockapoo, Kobe! He suffers from separation anxiety, but you’d never know it when he’s visiting Abigail during the week for his walks or staying with her while we’re away. He loves her and her dogs and gets so excited when we pull up outside her house. Kobe always comes back happy, tired, and eager to visit again. Communication is excellent, and I couldn’t ask for better care than what Abigail provides.
I've known Abigail for some time but she has looked after my 2 cockapoos over the last 3yrs...and I wouldn't have it any other way. I call her the 'fairy dogmother' because thats what she is. All dogs she cares for absolutely love her and her spaniels. Its like a second family for them. She does some great walks too. Highly recommend.
Our dog Neve clearly has the time of her life whenever she is with Abigail as we rarely see her as excited as she is when we drop her off. She’s been going on adventures with Abigail for around 7-8 months now, both day care and boarding, and we can highly recommend. Abigail is friendly, professional and flexible but most importantly Neve loves her to bits which says it all.

Schedule
I am currently provide insured dog walking, day care and boarding services, 7 days a week. All enquiries welcome. A meet and greet will be arranged to ensure that you, your dog and me will all be happy before booking a service. Boarding dogs will preferably not suffer from separation anxiety, I have to be able to nip out to the shops etc. I have a good existing customer base and my customers know they can rely on me any time. Some of my guest dogs have been coming for over 10 years so my home is their second home, it is happy and peaceful, I live on my own with my 4 Cocker Spaniels, Oscar(16), William (14), Amber(10) and Polly(3). I am available 7 days a week and at short notice.

I have a fenced yard and 4 Spaniels of ages 16, 14, 10 and 3 years old so I can provide care for all ages of dogs.

A typical day
When your dog stays with me, he or she will become a member of my fur family and join in with our daily routine and activities. The day starts with an outing to a field across from my house, then back for breakfast. We then go for a nice long walk at my local woods where we enjoy the Leeds/Liverpool canal and the River Aire, Hirstwood provides us with fabulous walks virtually on my doorstep. The dogs then rest until the afternoon walk, again in one of the fabulous woods in my area. This takes us to tea time and then another rest time, around 8.30/9pm is their last night time pee in the field across the road and then bed. The dogs are well exercised and well rested, older dogs can skip long walks and enjoy shorter walks, all ages can be accommodated. Younger dogs or dogs not used to me will be kept on an extension lead or as requested.
