I currently work full time at Dirty Dog - Grooming and Boarding so my schedule is very fluid and I’m often available during the day on weekdays as well as weekends. My partner also works from home so there is always an extra set of helping hands when needed! In my time off, I enjoy reading, paddle boarding on the lake, practicing yoga, and a new hobby of mine - rock painting! I would love to add taking care of other people’s fur babies to my list of activities (:

In my own home, my dog and dogs I’m sitting will get frequent walks and visits to the local dog park. We also have plenty of space and toys for animals to enjoy themselves inside my home. In terms of trust, I will always follow a pets lead when it comes to how they’re feeling and what their needs are. Making sure an animal feels comfortable and safe will always be top priority.

A typical day
I love to be outside, so taking my dog and the dogs I watch on long walks is my absolute favorite! I live in an awesome neighborhood for walking around with some great local dog parks, but going to the green belt or the lady bird trail is also a fun time with the pups! Depending on consent from dog/owner, I also love to take my dog to local coffee shops, breweries, etc for a little more mental stimulation and of course, all of the head scratches (:

I’ve personally taken care of dogs and cats for over the last 15 years and currently have my own pup! I have never met a dog I didn’t immediately love and my partner calls me a dog whisperer because of how great I can bond with them.

Abby has watched my dog Kobi numerous times and each time Kobi comes back a happy dog. She sends pictures letting me know she’s getting walks, treats, and hanging out with her dog Penny. I know I can trust Abby anytime I go out of town to take care of Kobi.
Abby has watched my dog Dory on different occasions and she always has a blast! Abby has a super friendly dog that Dory loves playing with and she’s always a tired and happy pup after her stays with Abby. She’s also great about accommodating for whatever your pet may need to feel comfortable and loved while you’re gone. Couldn’t recommend her more for any of your pet sitting needs!
