Pet care experience
I’ve got your tail covered!
I’ve had dogs as long as I can remember. From Rat Terriers to a Great Dane. I love all breeds. I’ve had my very own Pitbull who’s now over the rainbow bridge, he was my soul dog. So I understand the love and bond between an owner and animal. He also was on a very strict medication schedule toward the end of his life, so I have no issue with medications and times. I have previously worked at a dog groomers so I have experience with all breeds! Many friends and family trust me to babysit their dogs or even come to me for advice about their dogs whether it be medical or behavioral. As you can see I also have a ferret (2 actually) so if you have rodents I don’t mind those either!

Ratings and reviews
Abigail really knows dogs. She got our husky outside often and she sent videos of him playing outside.
Abigail and Ethan took excellent care of my pups on an overnight boarding. I was so nervous about leaving them with strangers because they are strong willed pitbulls with separation anxiety. Abigail snuggled them. They looked so happy and relaxed in all of the photos and videos she sent. I’d highly recommend Abigail for dog sitting.

Abigail is wonderful! My pup is so excited to see her when she comes to walk her! I appreciate her soooo much!!

I will follow, and respect any rules you have for your dog. I will not break any rules as I know that can affect the dogs behavior. This will call for further discussion upon arrivals.
A typical day
I love talking dogs on different routes and to different places to let their sniffer go to work! It can be a good mental exercise for dogs to just sniff around, and if I’m tired of walking it works perfect for the both of us. For more mental simulation I use lick mats for my dogs, and wouldn’t mind using them for others as well. Lick mats provide great mental exercise which can be just as tiring as psychical exercise. If going on walks or adventures, I usually like to take dogs to places that are less busy to avoid any bad situations and so I can focus on just the dog and not have to worry about any other factors. If your dog is fine with strangers and other dogs then I also wouldn’t mind taking them to local pet stores to get some attention and a look around!

- Please let me know how your dog is with people and other dogs so I can plan accordingly. With this, along with any special needs that may not be noticeable. For example, if your dog has hip pain, then I would know not to take that dog for a long walk. I would not want to cause any further pain or discomfort to a dog due to me not knowing of its condition. If your dog does not have the best leash manners I would like to know that beforehand as well so I know to not take a busy route! Then of course, if the dog requires any medication I would need to know that beforehand if I need to give them their medication.
