Experienced Animal Caregiver
Hi! I am a lifelong animal lover and caregiver. I have two sweet dogs of my own, one golden retriever and one small mix. They are my family, and I promise to treat your animals just as well. I work from home 3 days a week, and my husband’s sales job allows him very flexible hours. Our dogs are very rarely left alone for more than a couple of hours. We live in a three story house with a fenced in back yard. The set up of the house gives us plenty of space for everyone to play or to spread out if your pet prefers their space. I look forward to meeting both you and them!

Abigail and her husband were exceptional in caring for Miley. They were very communicative throughout the entire boarding, sending pictures and regular updates, and were flexible with the pickup time. Miley’s mood was great returning home and she seems to have thoroughly enjoyed her time with Abigail’s family. We are looking forward to our next stay!
Abigail is always our first choice for our dog, Buffett, when we go on vacation! She is super responsive and I can always tell that Buffett is right at home with her. Thank you!!
Dogs seemed to love their time with Abigail! She was great about communicating with us and sending frequent photos.

Abigail took such good care of our girl Apple! She gave regular updates and photos while we were away. Initially I was nervous about leaving Apple behind but Abigail alleviated those fears and really was so good to our girl. We will definitely be using her again in the future.
So friendly and understanding. We booked for 2 dogs. The day before the booking we had to put one of our dogs down due to age/sickness. I asked her if we could update the booking to one dog and she did it immediately. We also got home earlier than expected and didn’t want to go home alone since we were still reeling after putting our baby down. She was very understanding and let us pick up our baby at 9:30pm at night on our way home. I will definitely be using her again. Nice home and a fenced in backyard.

Schedule
My husband and I both work full time (M-F), but we both work from home either half time or full time depending on the week. Both having flexible schedules, we ensure that no pet is left alone for more than a couple of hours at a time.

Safety, trust & environment
I understand that your pets are family, and will treat them as such. Whether they are on individual feeding schedules, different vitamin regiments, exercise routines, etc, you can rest assured that we will do everything possible to keep your animal cared for and comfortable. I have experience with both low maintenance and high maintenance dogs. I'm happy to provide in home boarding, walks, drop in for play or feeding time, or anything that suits your needs!
Pets
A typical day
If your dog loves to play, they will get along beautifully with my golden retriever. Our days are filled with chase, fetch, tug-of-war, walks around the neighborhood, snacks, and cuddles. If you are comfortable with it, I love taking our dogs to the Heritage Dog Park around the corner followed by ice cream at Brusters. We have a fenced in yard, so there is generally room to play.

- Let me know if your dog has any medication or routine vitamins that I will need to provide, and any additional information regarding those. If your pet doesn’t get along with other dogs, let us know! We can make accommodations to keep everyone safe and happy during their stay. Please bring your pet’s food, food bowl, any medication, favorite toy (or two), and any bedding to make them feel more at home if you prefer.
