It’s important to me to know the basics about the pet such as how old they are, feeding schedule, more social or withdrawn? For dogs I like knowing what types of toys and play they enjoy best, and if they are behaved around other dogs. For cats it’s important to know if they are friendly with strangers, if certain noises or things spook them, favorite treats and so on.
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs on walks around the park, and more social dogs I enjoy taking to the dog beach/ dog parks. Dogs with higher energy and a need for more physical activity I’ll go on jogs with. Cats I love to get to know and bond with to understand what they need. I enjoy finding new ways to keep them entertained or just simply tossing toys and using a laser pointer.
